A Quick History

OLDS ELEVATOR™ LLC, BoothThe OLDS ELEVATOR™ Vertical Bulk Material Conveyor was conceived by inventor Peter Olds, of Maryborough, in Queensland, Australia. www.oldselevator.com An engineer who operates a small foundry, Peter sought a better means to elevate foundry sand 18 feet to feed a newly acquired automated sand mixing machine.

Dissatisfied with conventional methods - bucket elevators, screw elevators, pneumatic conveyors and inclined belt conveyors - Peter developed a radical concept that overcomes all the obstacles of elevating sand in his foundry - using less than 5 sq. ft. of floor space!

The concept worked immediately on prototypes, then real-world units. Applications utilizing casings from 6 to 35 feet tall, with diameters of 2-1/2 to 8 inches elevated up to 25 tons of material per hour!

Email OLDS ELEVATOR™, Revolutionary Vertical Bulk Material Conveyor TechnologyIn fact, granular products, pellets and powders can be elevated at surprisingly slow speeds, where centrifugal forces are minimal. Even manual turning of the casing of the OLDS ELEVATOR™ Vertical Conveyor will elevate the product. This phenomenon opens the door for applications where easily damaged products can now be elevated without concern.

The many performance advantages and economics of the revolutionary OLDS ELEVATOR™ technology are compelling. And, the potential applications are limited only by your imagination.
