FEASIBILITY TEST CRITERIA

Prior to specifying and building an OLDS ELEVATOR™ Vertical Bulk Material Conveyor for your application, we use one or more of our test units to elevate a sample of your actual product.

Test data forms the basis for developing your application-specific design:

  • Suitability for elevation
  • Abrasion factor
  • Damage, if any, to product during elevation
  • Flow rate range
  • Performance at various flow rates
  • Appropriate casing diameter
  • Screw design
  • Product intake design
  • Feed hopper design
  • Motor and drive system design
  • Discharge head design
  • Volumetric feeder accuracy and repeatability


Testing is videotaped, and conducted at our Hudson, New Hampshire facility.
